True Cajuns, Real Cousins
Brett and David are true 1st cousins. Their mothers are sisters and they grew up together in Houma, Louisiana.
Growing up in Houma, LA during the 60's and 70's was a special time; no internet or cell phones. There was only family fun and quality time. Both grew up as the 3rd child of their families and were close in age. As time would go by, Brett and David reconnected in Houston, TX in 2018. The two of them began a YouTube cooking channel focused on Cajun cooking.
Cajun Cousins Cooking started out as a fun hobby to relive pieces of their childhoods, but as views grew and subscribers followed, the world wanted more from these two!
With numerous requests for more recipes, videos, cooking tutorials, and even their original "Cajun Cousins Cooking BUNKHOUSE Seasoning", Cajun Cousins Cooking became more than a hobby - it was now a passion with which they wanted to share with the world.
As Brett and David followed this endeavor, the two were invited to be a part of a special video by the famous YouTube Creator, Great Big Story, a very popular channel with over 6 million subscribers; in their video, Spicy Food From Around The World, these two Cajun Cousins were able to not only share their love for Cajun culture, food, and flavor, but also represent their beloved community to the world!
